Chris Hurn interviewed by Mixergy.com about Entrepreneurship

If you’re not familiar with Mixergy.com, you really ought to check it out. It was founded by a gentleman named Andrew Warner with the purpose of helping ambitious people like you and I learn from a mix of experienced mentors (including Gary Vaynerchuk, Barbara Corcoran, Jimmy Wales, and more).

Having a mentor can be invaluable, but one person only has so much knowledge and so much experience. Andrew has created a space where I (and you) have the opportunity to hear from lots of people with lots of failures, lots of successes, and lots of experience. And I love it.

I was honored to do an interview with Andrew for Mixergy.com last month. As much as I love finding new ways to grow my business and to grow as a person and as a business owner, I love being able to pay-it-forward even more. You can watch the video of my interview with Andrew below, and you’ll find the audio and transcript here (if those would be helpful).

I’m thankful to Andrew and Mixergy.com for giving me the chance to talk about my experiences as an entrepreneur. If even one person gets one thing — just one idea — out of this interview that helps them push their business forward, I’ll be thrilled. Leave a comment below or on the Mixergy.com page to let me know what you think and if any part of it is helpful to you.

Thanks for reading, watching, and sharing!

P.S. If you’re interested in learning more about how business owners can create wealth, you should pick up a copy of my book, The Entrepreneur’s Secret to Creating Wealth.  It covers a lot of things we couldn’t get into in the interview above. If you already have a copy, I’d really appreciate it if you’d leave a short review on Amazon.com to help others know whether it’s a useful book. Thanks in advance!

P.P.S. If you or someone you know is looking for commercial property financing for a small business, please call me at 1-866-622-4504 or email me at ChrisHurn@MercantileCC.com right away. I keep hearing stories of people getting turned down by ordinary commercial banks for owner-occupied commercial real estate projects — but we’re closing loans right-and-left for small business owners across the country. Let us know how we can help, and we’ll put our team of Experts to work for you or your Clients today.

I am so jealous that Andrew Warner booked this interview before me. I discussed MCC and the Creating Wealth book on my podcast (http://t.co/T8xcYD3s) this week. Love the book! I still would love to interview Chris.

I am listening to your interview on mixergy.com and have been reading your posts regarding your published book, watched your interview with Fox News (I believe) and other posts. Very impressive I must say! Congratulations on your success! I know of hundreds of SBA lenders out there and no one is doing it like you are.

I started my brokerage business about 18 months ago and have similar goals and aspirations as you had back in 2002 when you first started. We are making steady progress and building the foundation. However, I can definitely relate to the stress and pressure you mention in your mixergy interview!

I describe us as capital markets consultants in the areas of factoring, asset-based loans and commercial real estate (construction and traditional CRE). We do come across SBA opportunities on occasion and I will certainly keep you in mind for that.

Anyway, just wanted to write and say “thanks” for the inspiration. Keep up the good work!

    • Chris Hurn says:

Thanks, Patrick. I appreciate your kind words here. I hope you check out the book – I actually partly wrote it as a sales tool exactly for folks such as yourself to give potential clients as an educational gift. Anyway, I’ll look forward to seeing some referrals soon from you. Keep up the good work!

  8. Richard Hinz says:

How do you create a Capital Funding company?

    • Chris Hurn says:

      Very carefully. :)

  9. Amy Fisch says:

    Thank you!!

  10. Yolonda Siler says:

    Thank you for the information.

  11. Braudis Pegram says:

    • Chris Hurn says:

      Thanks, Braudis!
