A couple years back, we made up a holiday (yeah, we sometimes do strange things like that). We call it 504 Day, and it falls on May 4th of each year. Despite our best efforts, we haven’t been able to get it registered as a national holiday yet (and Hallmark doesn’t yet recognize it), but I’d like to share with you a little about why we dreamt it up and why it’s significant.
Watch the short video below to find out what 504 Day is and what it isn’t. You’ll even learn about how I have personally used a 504 loan (aka the SmartChoice® Commercial Loan) and why I did so…
Don’t forget to leave a comment below to let me know what you think about our holiday and my story about having used a 504 loan myself. And of course, have a very Happy 504 Day!
Dedicated to Your Continued Success,
Chris

Hi Chris:
I dig the creative angle and expect this gives you guys an edge vs the competition. The humor was welcome too; in this industry where uptight is the norm, it was refreshing. You guys and Dan must run a fun office.
Thanks.
Chris Hurn says:
We DO try to Alex. We’ve been called the “fun bankers” for quite some time. We’re 180 degrees different (in that respect) than most in our industry.

Happy 504 Day Chris! BTW, I noticed the name Taggert with a photo behind you. Is that Taggert the 1965 Western (I graduated H.S. in 1963)? If so, how did you come by that?

It is actually remarkable once you can hear from individuals what actually are the items the government should cope with. Clearly, they ought to be dealing with the financial state of the country due to the fact it’s the most important thing.
